About Us We found so many abandoned animals when we moved here, either left at our RV Park or on the road, we took them in and found homes for them.  When the people in the area realized we were rescuing they would contact us to rescue other unwanted animals, i.e. pot belly pigs, goats, donkeys etc. We even have a heard of guinea pigs!  From there we were told about pregnant mares having their babies in their pins at the killer horse sales, so Diane and I would buy the mama’s and babies to save them from being shipped to Mexico and slaughtered for Bone Meal.  These horses were so thin, skin and bones but, today you wouldn’t recognize them. Bob and Diane with Flax and Puffin Grandy Pony, a Carriage horse and one of our Mascots, was rescued from Killer Sales, he was skin and bones when we got him, today you wouldn't recognize him.
