Kiva Donkey Rescue
Our goal is to rescue, shelter, rehabilitate and find permanent homes for donkeys that have been abused, neglected and would otherwise be destroyed. The abuses they have endured goes beyond the recovery of these animals, it gives them a chance in life they have in many cases not had. For us the rewards cannot be measured and the friendships cannot be matched.

Companionship
Adoptions are lifetime commitments. The companionship of at least one other donkey is important to the health of a donkey, and we do require before any adoption that you have a donkey companion. A donkey has a remarkable ability to rehabilitate and is very affectionate.
Our animals can be seen throughout the site with names and descriptions.

Our compassion for these loving friends at times takes us to other animals in need of rescue from abuse or slaughter, weather it is a horse, cow, goat, or pig, we give them all the love, support and care they desperately need to recover. In the beginning this was our start, helping all animals, and now our main focus is on donkeys.
